Southeast

Overview

Our Southeast producing area is comprised of significant holdings in two major geologic trends, the Sunniland trend in southwest Florida and the Smackover trend in the northwest Florida Panhandle and Alabama.

In Florida’s Panhandle, we produce from the Jay Field, which has one billion barrels of OOIP.  We employ a miscible nitrogen and water flood to optimize production from the Jay Field.

In the South, we produce from the Raccoon Point, West Felda, Bear Island, and Lehigh Park fields located throughout the Cretaceous Sunniland Trend in the South Florida Basin, which was discovered in the 1940s.
